The world is really your oyster once you have your PPL. As a pilot, you’ll join the ranks of those less bound by conventional limits on time, distance and personal freedom. Flying is – a freedom well-regulated for safety and security but abundant in options and benefits.

An Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) Rating is an invaluable aid to all pilots whether old hands or fresh from the PPL course. The rating permits flight in a much wider range of weather conditions including cloud and poor visibility, useful given our country’s changeable conditions!

Lets face it - most of us fly aerobatics because it's immense fun! However, aerobatic flying brings confidence, precision and a practical understanding of the finer points of aerodynamics unmatched by any other flying activity, making all your flying both safer and more enjoyable.

The Great Circles PPL Theory course has been carefully designed to ensure that our students get the most out of their time spent with us. You will study 7 different subjects. Each subject takes approximately one day and you will then sit the examination for that subject.
