Our PPL Plus course is intended for pilots with a PPL who want to:

• Improve their handling skills and confidence
• Increase safety
• Learn advanced handling techniques
• Enjoy a new challenge

The Course

PPL + is a short course that comprise 5 hours flying plus 8 hours ground tuition. It is designed to encourage and enable the PPL holder to expand their flying skills and broaden their experience. The course can be flown in any aircraft listed below. Spin training will be flown in our Sligsby T67 Firefly.

Here's a brief overview of the course:

• Circuit revision, including short/soft field operations and Crosswind handling
• Stalling revision
• Constant aspect forced landing technique (as taught by the RAF)
• Maximum rate turns
• Handling an EFATO
• Recovery from unusual attitudes and spinning in the Firefly

Prices are inclusive of VAT and approach/landing fees at homebase. These are for 5 hours flight training and 8 hours ground school. If you are already partway through a course and need to complete it, please call us for a quotation.
