Fast Track Combined MEP Instrument Rating 3 Weeks
The Course
This COMBINED 56/61 hour modular JAR MEP & MEP-IR course is for holders of a JAR PPL or CPL who wish to obtain a Multi-Engine Class Rating and a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating. The course is structured in three phases. The first 23/28 hours consist of basic instrument excercises and learning the technical side of IFR flying. The second phase,the so called "complex" phase, includes 12 hours of cross country flying with a minimum of 5 hours night flying with instrument approaches at various international airports such as Malaga, Seville, Valencia or Ibiza among others. The last 21 hours of the course is completed in our multi-engine aircraft.
Entry Requirements
• Hold a current JAR PPL or CPL • Have passed the theoretical knowledge examinations for IR(A) or ATPL(A) in any JAA member state • Be fluent in the English language • Hold a JAR Class I Medical Certificate, or Class II Medical Certificate with Class I audiogram testing for holders of a JAR PPL • Have at least 50 hours experience cross country and at least 70 hours PIC
Course Syllabus
10 Hours basic simulator training, if required
23 Hours single engine CESSNA 172 (28 hours for holders of a PPL licence)
12 Hours single engine CESSNA 172RG or BEECHCRAFT BONANZA
15 Hours multi-engine CESSNA 310 (IFR flight training)
6 Hours multi-engine CESSNA 310 (VFR flight training)
7 Hours theoretical ME knowledge training
Up to 1 hour CESSNA 310 - Flight Skills Test MEP
Up to 2 hours CESSNA 310 - Flight Skills Test IR-ME
Course duration: 2-3 weeks

The price includes: Course fee, flight skills test fee, all landing and approach charges, up to 2 hours use of the aircraft for the flight skills test, Spanish course approval fee, accommodation and transport night spent away from Madrid (night flying), and VAT.
The price DOES NOT include: Accommodation and transport to and from the airport. |
