Fast Track Standard SEP Instrument Rating 3 Weeks
The Course
This STANDARD 45/50 hour modular JAR SEP-IR course is for holders of a JAR PPL or CPL who wish to obtain a Single Engine Instrument Rating. The course is structured in two phases. The first 33 hours consist of basic instrument excercises and learning the tecnical side of IFR flying. The second phase, so called the "complex" phase, includes 12 hours of cross country flying with a minimum of 5 hours night flying with instrument approaches at various international airports such as Malaga, Seville, Valencia or Ibiza among others.
Entry Requirements
• Hold a current JAR PPL or CPL
• Have passed the theoretical knowledge examinations for IR(A) or ATPL(A) in any JAA member state
• Be fluent in the English language
• Hold a JAR Class I Medical Certificate, or Class II Medical Certificate with Class I audiogram testing for holders of a JAR PPL
• Have at least 50 hours experience cross country
Course Syllabus
10 Hours basic simulator training, if required
33 Hours single engine CESSNA 172 (38 hours for holders of a PPL licence)
12 Hours single engine CESSNA 172RG or BEECHCRAFT BONANZA
Up to 2 hours BEECHCRAFT BONANZA - Flight Skills Test

The price includes: Course fee, flight skills test fee, all landing and approach charges, up to 2 hours use of the aircraft for the flight skills test, Spanish course approval fee, accommodation and transport night spent away from Madrid (night flying), and VAT.
The price DOES NOT include: Accommodation and transport to and from the airport.
