Fast Track IMC Theory 1 DayThe Great Circles Fast Track IMC Theory course will enable you to prepare for the ground examination and practical flying test for the IMC Rating more thoroughly, effectively and enjoyably than is possible using traditional study methods. The course also offers an excellent grounding in the theory and practice of instrument flying for those pilots embarking on a full Instrument Rating course. Holding an IMC Rating is an enormous privilege. It will allow you to take to the skies when you might otherwise have been grounded. Instrument flying is a serious discipline. Our fast-track IMC theory course will equip you with the skills necessary to complete a flight when operating under IFR. Interpreting instrument approach plates, understanding how nav-aids and gps work, these are all skills that you will acquire on the course and indeed, develop further, throughout your flying career. Our courses are delivered by dedicated, patient and enthusiastic instructors. The course lasts for one day with the exam taken at the end. The IMC written exam paper consists of 25 multiple choice questions which have to be answered within 2 hours requiring a pass mark of 72%.
