Get to grips with the CRP Flight Computer with our brand new 1 day intensive course.
The ATPL General Navigation exam is time critical. Over half of the paper requires calculations to be performed on the CRP. Being fast and efficient with your CRP flight computer is absolutely essential to ensure a pass in the exam.
By the end of the course you will be in a position to readily answer any question on the ATPL General Navigation exam relating to the CRP. All examples used on the course are current exam database questions, further increasing your chances of success.
There are many alternative ways to solve the various problems on a CRP; generally they are one-off solutions involving non standard use of datums. In experienced hands 'short cuts' may be acceptable but newcomers are strongly advised not to try them as the end result is usually confusion and frequently students are left with long term hang-ups about the CRP.
Our experienced instructors will teach you the techniques employed in Commercial Aviation and provide a firm foundation on which to build on from the outset, thereby ensuring that each new technique naturally follows from the last. It is true that certain calculations are better done on a calculator due to accuracy required, and sometimes speed. Such calculations will also be demonstrated both ways to ensure you find a technique that works for you.
