Lowrance is pleased to announce their newest versatile aviation portable: the Airmap 500. This unit offers excellent features and utility in an aviation portable. In addition to the built-in basemap, the Airmap 500 accepts all of their detailed MapCreate products, as well as Freedom Maps.
The Airmap 500's processor provides map redraws and scrolling at high speed, on it's 180x240 pixel 16-level LCD display. Pilot-friendly interface makes operation easy, and menus are available in 10 languages, with quick access to nearest airport. Displays can be customised with many navigational functions.
