The AvMap EKP-IV brings situational awareness to the next level in a portable moving map GPS. Featuring a new more compact unit profile with an even LARGER and more brilliant color sunlight-viewable 7" LCD display and internal batteries for emergency use. EKP-IV redefines portable GPS moving map systems. By strategically positioning menu keys along the sides of the slimmed-down case the unit can operate in Portrait and Landscape mode.
A key improvement is also present in the area of chart data storage and software. The EKP-IV utilize a 128MB Compact Flash (CF) so to have a full high detail continental coverage-integrating roads regional chart plus Jeppesen data (for Europe or America depending on the version). The EKP uses Jeppesen's aeronautical database system as well as the AVIOportolano database covering over 300 ULM Airfields
