Learn and familiarise yourself with general Radio Telephony Procedures associated with your course and a typical VFR Flight. Practice making radio calls yourself. Designed to help you pass your Radio Telephony exam. Ideal for beginners and qualified pilots wishing to learn and refresh RT skills.

This is a unique and versatile Radio Telephony interactive Radio Telephony Tutor on CD. It is based on the JAA communications syllabus and the lessons follow the format of the Radio Telephony Manual CAP 413 (Document 9432). The tutor is designed as a stand-alone training aid so that when you have worked your way through all the lessons you will be thoroughly familiar with the general RT procedures associated with a VFR flight. However if you are working for your RT exam you should use the tutor in conjunction with the documents specified in the syllabus.

This UK Airspace Supplement, created by Oxford Aviation Training, is intended to complement the international version of the VFR radiotelephony (RT) tutor. It contains lessons on the differences in UK RT procedures from those of ICAO and is designed for students who do most of their flying in UK airspace. It covers such things as the Lower Airspace Radar Service (LARS), VFR flying in military airspace, the control of aircraft wishing to penetrate danger areas and aspects of the emergency service which are particular to the UK.
