This CD Bundle contains the Oxford VFR RT Communications, IFR RT Communications & UK Supplement Bundle. Created by Oxford Aviation Training, It contains lessons on the differences in UK RT procedures from those of ICAO and is designed for students who do most of their flying in UK.
The tutor is based on the JAA communications syllabus and the lessons follow the format of the ICAO Manual of Radiotelephony (Document 9432). The tutor is designed as a stand-alone training aid so that when you have worked your way through all the lessons you will be thoroughly familiar with the general RT procedures associated with a VFR flight. However if you are working for your exams you should use the tutor in conjunction with the documents specified in the JAA syllabus. This VFR RT Comms (ICAO/JAA compliant) CBT is bundled together with the VFR UK Airspace Supplement CBT for those students/pilots requiring a complete VFR RT Comms course for flying in United Kingdom Airspace.
The IFR RT tutor is designed to follow on from the international VFR RT tutor. It covers the IFR elements of the JAR Communications syllabus and contains many examples of RT which might be used when flying IFR in both uncontrolled and controlled airspace.
