Processing of orders
The Great Circle cannot despatch goods at the weekend.
Orders placed at the weekend will be processed on Monday.
Credit and Debit cards are debited before items are shipped by The Great Circle. All prices are subject to sales taxes (where applicable) unless otherwise stated, and charge is made for shipping.
Every purchase you make shall be deemed performed in the UK. UK law shall govern every aspect of contractual agreement concerning purchases made from this web site.
The Great Circle aim to arrange shipment of all in stock items within 48 hours of receiving your order. Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock with our suppliers. Some items may be unavailable and the current stock status is approximate. The Great Circle are not able to supply dates our suppliers may get an item in stock.
Orders cancelled for reasons relating solely to customer will incur a 5% administartion fee.
Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation. If your address is not recognised by the Post Office or there are known problems regarding deliveries to your address, please contact us immediately to make alternative arrangements.Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments, although extremely unlikely.
Title to any product ordered will pass to you once The Great Circle has received payment in full for that product.
If your delivery address is outside of the UK you maybe subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; The Great Circle advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information.
From time to time The Great Circle may engage a 3rd party to fulfil orders, a contract for the sale of these products will be made between the 3rd party supplier and yourself.
Please note that when shipping products internationally you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Please note that normal Royal Mail first class recorded delivery only insures your package to a maximum value of £28. Should you wish to insure your item(s) to the maximum retail value, please select the insurance option on the payment page. Items equivalent to or exceeding £50, are automatically insured to the full retail value at an additional cost of £3.50.
Specific to Aviation Science:
Courses for Aviation Science will only run subject to a minimum number of students enrolling. If Courses do not run and you have already booked, you will be issued with a FULL REFUND.
The Great Circle Aviation Science Courses are strictly THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE courses.
The Great Circle DOES NOT provide or claim to provide ANY form of 'Flight Instruction'.
Where enrolled students take part in flying excursions, this will be with a qualified pilot and in compliance with the Air Navigation Order. No flying instruction will be offered. Students wishing to gain 'hands on experience', shall do so with a Qualified Flying Instructor.
Verbal and written information relating to Flight Training Organisations and their Courses, will be provided free of charge to enrolled students.
Ground School may occasionally run on different days due to certain school functions throughout the academic year. Sufficient advance notice will be provided under such circumstances.
The Great Circle operate from the premises of Brighouse High School. No other affiliation exists or is implied between The Great Circle and Brighouse High School. Ground School offered by The Great Circle that resemble Ground School offered by Brighouse High School are purely coincidental. Software and other course consumables are the property of The Great Circle and NOT Brighouse High School.
